About Run With Zombies

Run With Zombies is a free survival game that runs in your browser and uses your real GPS location. Zombies spawn around you on a live map. To survive, you have to keep moving.

No app install required. Open it in your mobile browser, allow location access, and start running. The longer you stay ahead of the horde, the higher your score.

The game is designed for outdoor play. It works best in open areas where GPS signal is strong, such as parks, streets, and trails.

August 25, 2026 - Version 1.0.3 - Freeze and gun weapons

Weapon spots can now appear during a run. Freeze pickups charge Cryo Freeze so nearby zombies can be stopped for a short window, giving you space to recover or change route.

Gun pickups charge a short-range attack that eliminates nearby zombies and rewards each kill in the final score.

August 20, 2026 - Version 1.0.2 - Local run history and replay visualizer

My Runs lists finished runs saved in this browser, with pagination, useful score details, and a dedicated visualizer that can replay your route and the zombie horde.

Run routes and zombie replay data stay local to the browser. They are not uploaded to the server, and they can disappear if browser storage is cleared or you move to another device.

July 29, 2026 - Version 1.0.1 - Settings profiles

Settings now include named profiles for common run types. Pick a profile to automatically set horde size, zombie speed, and run duration.

Manual changes still work as before; if your settings no longer match a named profile, the selector shows Custom.

July 27, 2026 - Version 1.0.0 - Healing spots on map

Healing spots are temporary safe targets that appear on the map while you run. When your stamina is low, head toward one and reach its location before the horde catches up.

When you arrive at a healing spot, your survivor recovers stamina so you can keep moving, change route, and stay in the chase longer.
